Retro Wave project from Sardinia, Italy. Founded in January 2014.
Italy’s CONFRONTATIONAL recently released its first full-length album, entitled A Dance Of Shadows.  This has been labeled as synthwave, as well as dark retro wave.

the songs on the LP are very direct, have pretty big choruses and they showcase a wide array of my influences, which might have also helped. After years spent honing my craft through several projects, I finally found my dimension and I’m very comfortable with how I do things sonically. My unrestrained love for the 80’s is now something that works within the current cultural climate, which made way for the tracks to get noticed within the beautiful synthwave/retrowave scene. My metal roots probably also played a part, I think…

If you'll close your eyes and listen,
it'll be just like being there together
on the early hours of August Fifteen, 2023
live at Upside Down in Fordongianus,
in the very heart of my home island, Sardinia.

A very unique night, a truly special feeling:
our very first live show in a four years break,
performing the full "CUT" album along with some faves
featuring Giulia on synth-lights and Juan on Simmons drums.

A heartfelt setlist to celebrate 9 years of CONFRONTATIONAL.

Very special thanks to Maxime Catena, Mara and Pietro
for making all of this happen, and to the wonderful audience
for letting us be heard and for their warm welcome.

Proceeds from the album sales will go forward to covering the costs of the band's upcoming tour dates - an exclusive chance to help the band cross the seas and reach the mainland from their native island of Sardinia.

We're looking forward to making this happen all over the place.
