Vigilante - Hopeless

Chilean electronic/metal act based around front man Ivan Muñoz (programming/ guitars/ vocals) which has seen releases in countries as diverse as Germany, Argentina, Russia, Japan and the USA.

The live act is supplemented by Christopher Calise (guitars), Mike Pimentel (keyboards) and/or Noyyz Olivier Lecanu (guitars). Vigilante has appeared at numerous international festivals and tours and was the support band of Nine Inch Nails in 2008.

Ivan Muñoz is the front man of industrial/electro/metal act Vigilante and one of Chile's most prominent performers.

Throughout his career he has worked, remixed and shared the stage with fellow luminaries of the scene such as Nine Inch Nails, Lacrimosa, Ministry, Strapping Young Lad, Public Enemy, Suicide Commando, S.I.T.D., Die Krupps, VNV Nation, Funker Vogt, Leaether Strip, and others.

Mr. Muñoz is also an outspoken supporter of online culture and the Anonymous movement, and has gotten endorsement by music industry brands like Focusrite, Novation, Schecter, Fxpansion, Presonus, Dean Markley, Seymour Duncan, and Sony Software.

Hopeless

Hopeless is the side project of Ivan Muñoz, singer/leader of South American industrial band Vigilante.

This project is a mix of different textures and sounds, combining several influences taken from electronic music, along with vocals that mix the right amount of melody and aggression
Hopeless is born as an answer to the times we live, times where our dreams, hopes and ideals are replaced by selfishness, apathy and conformism.
Using messages that invite to reflection and sounds charged with emotions, Hopeless tries to illuminate the hidden corner in our souls where hope lies.

Their good work has taken them to collaborate with important bands such as: Punto Omega, Mind:State and the legendary Die Krupps.
