As childhood friends, Ruben and Victor had lofty dreams of playing music to crowds of thousands of people chanting to their songs. Hours away from the nearest nightclub in Amsterdam and with nothing more than a small home studio in rural Netherlands, the duo set out on their goal - crafting a harmonic, melody driven, Big Room sound that is as easy to listen to in your home as it is on the dance floor.

Platinum-certified Vicetone have been delivering addictive melodies and pushing the creative bounds of dance music for over a decade. Infectiously melodic and energetic, the distinct Vicetone sound has earned Dutch DJ/Producer duo Ruben den Boer and Victor Pool over a billion streams, multiple platinum and gold records, and a loyal global fanbase. Their untamed passion and creativity infuses all their output, from recorded music to exhilarating live shows performed at top festivals and clubs around the world. Childhood friends Victor and Ruben found quick success after joining creative forces in 2012 and releasing their debut record “Harmony”; within their first year they landed a spot on DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 DJ list and began touring globally. Vicetone has since brought their brand of emotionally charged dance music to their 2021 album “Legacy” and hits like “Nevada” and “Astronomia”, which hit top 10 on Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50 and was the second most Shazamed song worldwide. Vicetone’s latest EP “Departing Reality” showcases the duo’s talent for innovative production and experimentation while staying true to their artistic roots. "One thing that’s become apparent from working together for so long is that Victor is drawn toward happy songs, while I gravitate toward the darker and more melancholic songs, " explains Ruben.
