My wife is playing the Mass Effect remaster at the moment.
I'm interested in the Assassins Creed Black Flag sequel that was just announced.

Already saw Rastan up thread and that was a favorite... Rygar too. Mainly because I sucked at both so anytime I made it just a bit further in either game off my quarter it was exciting and felt like I accomplished something.

I was super into the Laserdisc games too when they came out. Then I owned a Space Ace machine in college before the arcade market went insane and you could buy most machines for under $200 on eBay. Wow, were the LD games a pain to keep running. I finally gave up after the 2nd LD player I installed failed since it was becoming harder and harder to track down working ones for a reasonable price.

Loved Space Ace both in the arcade and on my Genesis CD player

i only play retro or 2d style games. I hate 3d games as they give me motion sickness, but I also find most of them far too time consuming, complicated and otherwise a total waste of my time.

I love playing super mario bros hacks, and a big fan of the 2d metroid games. I guess I am a fan of that whole "metroidvania" genre as a whole. I like games I can pick up and play for short periods and do a few levels or whatever at a time. I don't have the patience to play any game for hours and hours like most people seem to do.

Anything Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Kirby, Sonic, Castlevania...basically all the big mascot games. I binged Zelda 1 up to Spectacle Rock/dungeon 9 while waiting for Breath of the Wild to come in the mail back in April...To be honest though, I've begun to adopt an attitude towards indie games that I have towards indie music...There are too many games in X genre that emulate a classic game so closely as to be pointless. I can't do metroidvanias besides a few newer ones and the classics, can't do sonic/mario clones, etc.

Otherwise, I survived the pandemic by playing Dark Souls 1-3 & Monster Hunter: World. ARPG games are my new drug.
