Ten Cent Toys

Ten Cent Toys was founded in September, 2009 by David Zawacki. After more than a decade of pursuits with the same consistent lineup opening for national and international artists, you could say that Ten Cent Toys has been around a while. With six releases under their belt and hundreds of shows, they have only begun to show their capabilities.

Ten Cent Toys started out as a solo project for its creator David Zawacki, but it was something that he could not control on his own. Ten Cent Toys took on a certain kind of sensuality, but there was anger brewing where sensuality was. After a rough start, Travis Lee bloomed while other members left for family and personal reasons. It was David and Travis who resurrected that dormant anger. The duo have returned with what can be seen as their most aggressive and best work.

Ten Cent Toys was founded in September, 2009 by David Zawacki. After more than a decade of pursuits with the same consistent lineup opening for national and international artists such as; Imperative Reaction, God Module, System Syn, Voltaire, Red This Ever, Push Button Press, Twitch The Ripper, Didges Christ Superdrum, and countless others, all while having members leave only to pursue personal family lifestyles and an ever expanding future on their own. It was in 2017 that David who stepped down as the primary writer on the outfit, allowing other members to take the reins of music composition. Those members had stood by his side since 2011. The outfit then released their triumphant return with this hit self-released return titled, “Rebirth.” Opening for Suicide Commando, Cyanide Regime, Ghostfeeder, Missfit Toys, Syn Nine, The God Bombs, and many more only to have their release completely sold out. Their hiatus began as they reformatted their lives and started work on their greatest release to date, “Twist Of Fate.” A release that would go on to feature the outstanding talents of sAndy LePlegua of Zombichrist on the smash hit, “Hate You” and the remixing talents of Imperative Reaction, Leather Strip, and Synthcreep. Debuting that material live prior to the album release opening for Aesthetic Perfection, Empathy Test, and Lazerpunk. Ten Cent Toys started turning heads all over the scene and they have only just begun.
