Marc Horstmeier, born 1975, took his first steps in electronic music around 1998. In 2000 the name C-DRONE-DEFECT was settled. As explanation: C is an abbreviation for counter. Written in full: Counter-Drone-Defect.
Marc Horstmeier started C-DRONE-DEFECT in 2000 and signed a contract with Synthetic Symphony/SPV. In 2001 the first album NEURAL DYSORDER SYNDROME was released. The feedback to this release was all the way positive and made a good position in the DAC (german alternative charts).
2003 CDD came in contact with NoiTekk and signed a contract for the second album NEMESIS. Daniel Myer (Haujobb) was enlisted for the mixing and the mastering.
2009 the third album DYSTOPIA and the free download-EP LETTERS FROM DYSTOPIA were released on NoiTekk.
In 2012 NEURAL DYSORDER SYNDROME - REDUX was released on NoiTekk, containing the complete sold-out original first album, reworked versions, remixes and three new tracks.
