Machines of Loving Grace (1989–1997) tribute thread

American industrial rock band founded in 1989 in Tucson, Arizona and disbanded in 1997. Named after a poem of Richard Brautigan.

In 1997, the band broke up while working on an album project called Love Scenes at the Slave Market; the project was abandoned.

As of 2006, Benzel is involved with an electronic band called Soulo. Mike Fisher is currently with Amish Rake Fight.

In 2008, "Butterfly Wings" from 1993's Concentration was featured on the soundtrack of the motion picture Punisher: War Zone.

Members:
Stuart Kupers: guitar, bass - American guitarist and composer. Co-founder of Tucson, Arizona industrial band Machines Of Loving Grace. Kupers died on November 13, 2021 at age 54 of complications from Gaucher’s and Parkinson’s Disease.
Mike Fisher: keyboards - Co-founder
Brad Kemp: drums - Co-founder
Scott Benzel: vocals - Co-founder, Visual artist, vocalist and composer, born 1968 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, lives and works in Los Angeles, USA.
Ray Riendeau: bass
