Formed in 2011 from the ashes of industrial death metal act CeDigest, the ragtag foursome of ragamuffins that is Ruinizer have quickly become contenders for one of the most energetic electronic music live shows in the UK, with a sound which fuses the musical sensibilities of the electro-industrial scene with elements of trap, drum n’ bass and dubstep.
Known for not taking themselves too seriously, and for having a vocalist/songwriter who wears a balaclava covered in kittens, Ruinizer plays eclectic and often aggressive electronic music that spans multiple genres and attracts fans from diverse subcultures and backgrounds.
Having already managed to make 2 studio albums he is apparently happy with in approximately only half the time it took the late-lamented CeDigest to produce even one which he still moans about, and already submitting even more amazing new material, singer/songwriter and producer Jay Ruin seems finally to have found his path as progenitor of what is already being celebrated in hashtags around the world as a new sub-genre of urban electronics: “swaggrotech”…
