Barbie

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I first heard that there was going to be a Barbie movie, but I sure didn't expect a brilliant, ceberal, satirical, comedy.
One that involves existentialism, and an actual "battle of the sexes."

And weird that I recently watched the two Pinocchio movies, because there were some similar themes as well, but through a different lens. (Less of a becoming "real" by being good, more of becoming by accepting imperfection.)

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, season 12
So, yeah it's very short. Like only 5 episodes. However, it made me laugh, so there is that.

What If...? Season 2

LOVED IT.
Kinda want spinoffs of some of these though. Give me more of the Blade Runner-esque Nebula episode, especially.

I hope it isn't true that there is only one more season...there is unlimited potential here. There could be a whole season revolving around the Fox X-Men. There could be stuff with Defenders, Inhumans (but better!), and Agents of SHIELD characters. And if Sony wants to play nice, throw in the Spider-Verses (What If Morbius Actually Said "It's Morbin' Time?")

Also Disney, please be utilizing this animation style more.

Echo

This is great, imho. Binged the whole thing in one sitting, which I typically don't do.
While it takes right off from the Hawkeye series, this is much different in tone...closer to the Marvel series that were originally on Netflix. Yes, it's relatively short (5 episodes), but the ending didn't leave me wanting (like some others), even though I would be excited to see more of her.

Leave the World Behind

I went into this knowing nothing about it, except it was a Sam Esmail film, and I was hoping for some sweet Esmail camera angles.
I was not disappointed.
I also found this movie very, very sample-able and I will be disappointed if I don't hear artists making use of this dialogue, that feels like it was written to be used in industrial music to begin with.
As for the story itself, maybe it's best like me to not know much going in?
It's about a family vacation that becomes a nightmare, and that's all I'll say about the plot.
I did find it fairly scary, to be honest.
Not sure if most would consider this horror, but that's how I would categorize it.

So like "Boyhood," but what if the boy was into filmmaking?

Ok, it's also based on Spielberg's experiences growing up.

It's alright, I'd recommend if you are into coming of age, family drama type stuff.
