I haven't seen a big movie in a theater in too long, that trailer looks fun. I did go to a drive in the other day though. It was just a projector on the side of a building but they made effort to program it with cartoons and previews. It was Karate Kid. I hadn't seen it in so many years and it holds up great because it's just well made with loveable characters. Low budget too, no explodey stunts apart from some martial arts. Price: free... I'll bet it's not too hard to put on a show like that with a projector and a generator.

Here's a fun story about midnight movies in Seattle. It quotes Peaches Christ, she ran some shows in San Francisco where I went on stage a few times. I was a furry backup dancer for a filthy queer rapper. Live shows are the best.

Sounds fun! A local theater was going to make "Cats" a regular midnight thing a la RHPS, but then covid happened.
