Midnight Syndicate is an American musical group that has been working mainly in the genre of instrumental gothic music since 1997 and is based out of Chardon, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The band refers to their CDs as "soundtracks for the imagination" or "soundtracks to imaginary films." Most of the songs on their albums are characterized by a blend of orchestral music and sound effects and are commonly used to provide atmosphere during the Halloween season, in haunted attractions, and in the role-playing game industry. The band has also composed the score to several horror films.

Haunting orchestral gothic, horror, and fantasy music blended with immersive sound effects. For over twenty seven years, Midnight Syndicate has been crafting "soundtracks to imaginary films" that blend chilling atmosphere, darkly beautiful themes, and pulse-pounding melodies designed to transport you to worlds of your own creation.  Kings of Haunt Music, and pioneers in the RPG music, gothic music, and amusement park industries, they were recently named among Rue Morgue Magazine's 50 Essential Horror Music artists of all time.
