Sapphira Vee makes dark, trippy music with an industrial edge with no boundaries and very few filters. Heavily influenced by her industrial roots, her driving beats, dark wave and trip hop vibe make her an electro vixen who demands your attention!

Stand Together
by Sapphira Vee

Summer of 2020, soon after the death of George Floyd my then 18 and 14 year old daughters were off to downtown Rochester for a protest that I was unable to attend. I knew they were going with a large group that included trusted adults, but I was still terrified for them. So much so, that the mama bear in me caved and asked them if they might reconsider. My older daughter looked at me insistently, almost incredulously, as if I needed to be convinced of its importance, and said “mom, this is for women too“.

No matter which oppressed group with which you most closely identify, we get nowhere if we can’t stand together

This will be released on Martin Luther King Jr Day, 2024. I've asked LGBTQ and women artists to remix this track.

Regular attendees at my shows may remember this danceable number, with a video that unites people across oppressed groups, reminding us all that our best hope for dignity and equality is in banding together and sharing our causes.

why does this track remind me so much of Billie Eilish?
