Caspro

Caspro has been releasing music since at least 2017, with his first full length Bandcamp release titled “Head Reset.” This album was pretty fantastic for a fresh first release – but was very different than the relaxed retro chillsynth that comprises “Making Waves.” Often featuring fast paced arpeggiations, upbeat tempos, swelling synthetic melodies, a bit of chiptune and some minor chords – “Head Reset” felt more like a cyberpunk synthwave release than anything close to chill.

In subsequent releases such as “Kardasynth,” Memory Drive,” and “Galactic Punks,” we heard more of the particular blend of cyberpunk and synthwave – though at times with elements more influenced by nostalgic retrowave overtones. We also heard a few releases that featured the darker side of synth as well, with “Dark Digital” being a full-on monstrous darksynth and cyberpunk EP.
