Yeah ok, by now most of you know I am a TLK superfan. The original film is one of my all time favorite movies.

And I absolutely loved this!

Yeah, ok I was a bit nitpicky about the cgi remake, but this is a work of beauty!

Simba's daughter Kiara is told the story of how her grandfather became king of Pride Rock.

The cg this time around was fantastic, and I dug the story. Hans Zimmer's original score still moves me to tears.

I already guessed how something would play out based on something that is in the Broadway musical (though I consider the play, the original hand drawn film, and the new cg ones separate continuities), but I'm going to keep this spoiler free.

I just wish they would use "He Lives In You" as a big musical number, and I thought it was a wasted opportunity in the first cg movie, but ok. Maybe if they do a Lion King 2: Simba's Pride cg remake they can use it there, along with "Upendi"

Evil Dead Rise

Dedites are released in an old apartment building. The usual shenanigans ensue. Except this time children are involved.

If you liked the first Evil Dead, and the 2013 one (like I did), you might like this.

Skeleton Crew

An 80s-esque kid adventure (like The Explorers or The Goonies), in the Star Wars universe.
I found it fun and very enjoyable, but that's par the course for anything Star Wars for me, so your milage may vary.

Wolf Man

Dude inherits his father's house and gets more then just the house and a beautiful view.

Thought it was ok for what it is.  Could it have been better? Yes, I would have rewritten the whole ending. The creature design was.. not the best

Creature Commandos

If you liked the last Suicide Squad movie, you really should watch this. Same vibe, but maybe better? And more emotional even, I wasn't really expecting that.

Captain America: Brave New World

Adamantium has been discovered in the main MCU timeline, and Cap Sam Wilson and the new Falcon Joaquín Torres become involved in a plot involving the discovery.

Picks up from the plot threads left in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Eternals, and yes 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

Has a kind of "old skool MCU" kind of vibe, reminding me of early films like the first two Iron Man, Hulk, and of course Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
One complaint I did have though is I wish certain plot points were kept under wraps better. I felt that I might have enjoyed this first watch more if Red Hulk (not a spolier, in the trailers) and another character were surprises.
Oh well though, they can't all be Deadpool and Wolverine.

The Wild Robot

A shipwrecked robot becomes a mother to an orphaned goose, and must teach him to fly before the migration 

Beautiful animation/artwork and a touching story combine to what I feel might become a future family film classic.

What If...? Season 3

I loved this series, and this season especially.
Damn it though, there is no reason to stop here. There is infinite stuff to play with.
I love this animation style, and I can't think of another recent series or film that comes close how visually brilliant it is. Reminds me of stuff like Secret of NIMH.
Hopefully we get new series that uses this style. (Since it pretty much sets up a MCU version of a certain comics team, not saying it because could be a spoiler)
Still hope they reconsider, would be the perfect show to bring in Cosmic Ghost Rider, just sayin. Oh, they can do a season where instead of Uatu, it's Deadpool and She-Hulk doing some meta observation thing. Disney, hire me or something.
Anyway, enough of what ifs, this season is fantastic and really grabbed me.

10/10, this season, probably 9.5/10 for series overall

The Substance

Sci-fi horror comedy in the vein thematically of Death Becomes Her. Instead of a magic potion that renders you undead though, this involves cloning a younger version of yourself that you must switch off with. Or suffer the consequences.

I really enjoyed this, and the soundtrack is fire.
