Mine has always been Prayer Tower (similar to FLA) and his lone "Halo" 1991 Third Mind Records album.

Prayer Tower - (Halo album) Suger The Pill

Prayer Tower - (Halo album) Electric State

&t=3s

Prayer Tower - (Halo album) Deliverance

Prayer Tower - (Halo album) Deception (like this)

Warm Leatherette (cover) - Prayer Tower

I sure wish Robert Weston had done more.

I have an odd fascination with one album wonders...

Ones that stuck out for me :

Plastic Assault - "We Score", I remember it was like basicly an updated caustic grip/angry leather strip type thing. Wasn't particularly original but did that sound very well.

Eva Online - "Scavenger"

Goddess of Destruction - "Goddess of Love"

Will - "Pearl of great price"

God experiment - "Triptych"

Menticide - "N.M.E"

They went on to do a ton of great tracks as Underworld, but this was the only song from Freur worth listening to.

WHOA! I didn't know that about Underworld but I just looked it up on discogs and you're right.  All I know is that far too many DJs play the Underworld track called "Cowgirl" which I'm getting sick of.

Underworld - Cowgirl

They only had 1 album "Organic" in 2000 but a couple of singles like "Lost" and I love their use of guitars or synth guitar sounds in "Lost".

[Active] Media Disease - Turn Into Lies

[Active] Media Disease - Lost

I love this thread, because it forces me to remember music, then I find that it has been rereleased on Bandcamp! This is great because a lot of these early CDs were produced cheaply and suffer from disc rot. Celtic Circle was a great label, but their albums only lasted for a few years :(

Fucking Putrefy Factor 7! I loved this band in the late 90s. I eventually tracked Don down for a remix on my Noise Process project. Then he did a couple self releases and disappeared again. I hope he is doing well :D
