Chapter I: Blood Quarter
Darryn walked the quarter's empty streets, following the beat. His destination, the infamous Massacre Blood Club, the Crimson Pit. And the closer he approached, the more the beat smothered the echoing sound of his footsteps.
The bouncer weighed him up and down with cold eyes. Though he'd seen him before, he still looked for his ticket, the bite marks on his neck.
The door opened and Darryn was swallowed by the club.
The club as always, was filled with smoke and mist, darkness slashed by thin beams of light, and wild beats, to which the night dwellers danced off blind excitement. They who found no room on the floor, danced on the ceiling, ignoring gravity's restrictions on their fun. Those who were not dancing lounged at the den's tables, VampZ, some with pets to sink their teeth into. The pets, often high on opium, gladly embraced their sires' bites.
Not having a pet presented no discomfort, as the guests could pour themselves fresh blood through nozzles attached to live prey restrained on the walls.
At the V.I.P section, human cattle hung upside down suspended through chains slowly dripped into extended goblets, victims especially selected by the patrons, to satisfy their most valued guests.
And in the midst of it all, elevated above the ground was the Pit's grim sculpture,
a mess of Priests' remains, limbs sewn on a torso, in a stance of prayer, with a
head placed at the top, facing backwards and looking for the heavens.
The patrons' Magnum Opus, "The Priest's Last Plea”.
AND YES, THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

Redrum 8 is the palindrome wording of the drug "Fentanyl", a drug popularly used to relief pain and cause euphoria.
Keeping that in mind, I tried to assimilate fully the feeling of being in a state of trance with a captivating & memorable main theme and a heavy techno bassline, not having conscious control of your dancing body to the beat.
The track was heavily inspired by Jesper Kyd's work for the Hitman:Blood Money - Mission "A Dance with the Devil" and it's main theme "Slasher" which was made by the band "Institute for the Criminally Insane".
