As the sun sets over Sunset City, palm trees sway in a gentle summer breeze, waves crashing against the shore as neon lights on the strip begin to flicker into life, shining through the twilight, the night air filled with anticipation...

Heatwave is the fourth album from Max Cruise, with eight original tracks that evoke the timeless sounds of the 1980s, with inspiration taken from the jazz fusion genre of that era combined with modern synthwave flair.

Long-time collaborator Pat DiMeo of The Motion Epic returns as a featured vocalist on Shadow In The Night and special guest Cam Blokland shreds his way through several fiery guitar solos on Ocean Drive, Speedway and the title track Heatwave.

Composed and produced by Benjamin Harrison, the album was mixed by Ben Wood at Delta King Studios and mastered by Ben Feggans at Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia.

Nights at Sunset Beach, the fifth album from Max Cruise, showcases ten original instrumental tracks that delve into moody late night vibes inspired by '80s smooth jazz with synthwave nuances.

Composed and produced by Benjamin Harrison, Nights at Sunset Beach features special guest guitar extraordinaire Cam Blokland on track three "Midnight Glow" and was mixed by Gerard Porqueres at Heartwork Recording Studio in Barcelona, Spain and mastered by Ben Feggans at Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia.
