Angels & Agony were born in 1994 under the name of Ode [check Ode] and are:
- Reinier Kahle (programming, synthesizers, vocals and lyrics)
- Erik Wierenga (programming, guitars, live synthesizers)
- Marco van Belle (live backing vocals, live synths, management)
- Fried Bruggink (drumpads)

Angels & Agony songs are philosophical and humanist in character. Their music is dark and melancholic but still danceable with pumping beats and sequences, their songs have a positive message. Angels & Agony played a lot of countries, clubs and festivals all over the world, their live shows are exciting, sympathetic and very intense.
