In December 1980, multiple U.S. Air Force personnel stationed at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, England, reported witnessing strange lights in the nearby Rendlesham Forest. Some accounts suggest that a triangular-shaped craft landed or hovered in the forest, emitting bright lights and causing radiation readings to spike. The incident gained attention and remains one of the most well-known UFO encounters in history.
I lived in Ipswich in 1980, which is around 15 miles from Bentwaters.
Notable in the attached PDF from Suffolk Police is the fact that Air Traffic Control in West Drayton was involved, and West Drayton is where we currently live.

This was created with multiple stems of audio, each from a different mini synth, such as the Bugbrand Postcard Weevil, Mute Synth 1 etc. The stems were looped and arranged so that they played back in random order as each one finished. They were then fed into a series of repeaters, delays, modulators, filters and gates in order to create a semi-generative piece. The repeaters and gates were adjusted in realtime to try to disturb the flow.

In 1991 I registered the project name 'Minilab' (amongst various others already in use) with the UK based Performing Right Society.
This is the first time I've used the name for a project as it seems appropriate in this instance; sounding completely different to my other endeavours.
The music was created with generative software, with certain parameters being altered by me on an improvisational basis as each track progressed.
I hope you enjoy it.

In the year 2525, beat data is assembled from numerous long-extinct computer systems, to entertain the last surviving digital nomads.
Physical media is long gone, having been replaced by subcutaneous brain interfaces that receive airborne entertainment transmissions.
However, even these are prone to malfunction as the human hosts are naturally organic and leak when under stress. This leads to momentary audio glitches, often perceived as part of the entertainment programmes but actually indicative of the oncoming demise of the host transmission/reception infrastructure.
