Where Minds Collide is about an AI that is rapidly taking over the world. Two systems and philosophies are locked in conflict, and we humans are ill-prepared for the unfolding scenario. Quite peculiar, considering we are the architects of this very development.
In a matter of a few years, reliance on AI will become indispensable. Anyone suggesting otherwise is being naive. We are on a collision course with AI and these two systems, and the battle for survival is imminent.
Technical facts:
This time, Jeyênne's vocals were recorded in a completely different way than usual. Different techniques, recording rooms and microphones were used to give the vocals a unique and distinctive effect. The female vocals are by Laura Friedland, a jazz-trained singer, songwriter and multidisciplinary artist. Her work includes recordings with producers and live performances with DJs. Her musical sensibility is influenced by electronic genres such as dubstep, electronica, ambient, contemporary and experimental.

Temptation

Temptation is deeply rooted in us. As humans, we are constantly confronted with it. Some are strong enough to resist it, most are addicted to it.
This track isn´t a warning, it shows us a mirror we can look into if we want to. Sooner or later we will have to face it, whether we want to or not.
"Temptation" is the second single of the announced album due to released in 2023 and follows the successful comeback "Machines".
Is it Goth, Punk, Electro, Techno, Industrial, Cyber, EBM or something in-between? We don't know, but it doesn't matter...

The near future.
Wearing masks has become the norm, we move with them as a matter of course.
The apocalypse hits us in harsh spurts and we learn to deal with it. Through sudden extraterrestrial knowledge and experiments with A.I., to make the perfect human and save lives, cyborgs have become a part of our society.
Yes, even better than humans.
At what price, however, is not known. The totalitarian government knows everything and controls everything. Failed experiments from a crossbreed of humanoids and helpful alien beings are forced to group into gangs and go underground.
Is there hope? Yes.
