Born August 27th, 1968 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
German composer, musician and producer of electronic music. He is often regarded as the father of electrolatino, electrogospel and aciton (acid-reggaeton) music.

German electronic musician now living in Santiago de Chile. Records under an extensive number of aliases. Runs his own label, called Rather Interesting, and his own design company called Linger Decoree.

Señor Coconut
Led by Uwe Schmidt (a.k.a. Atom Heart), and inspired by his move from Germany to Santiago, Chile, the Señor Coconut project revisits classics of the 70s and 80s, reinterpreting them with a Latin flair.
- Señor Coconut alone is Uwe Schmidt
- Señor Coconut Y Su Conjunto is also Uwe Schmidt. "Y Su Conjunto" means "And His Band" in Spanish, but in fact, the "band" consists of an Akai MPC3000 and S6000!
- On later releases, as Señor Coconut And His Orchestra, Uwe actually brings in a real band playing acoustic instruments.

Lassigue Bendthaus is the electro-industrial project of Uwe Schmidt. The final album, Pop Artificielle, is in the glitch/techno music style of Schmidt's Atom™ project and is an album of pop and soul covers.
