Fact Pattern - Industrial, Post-punk from Los Angeles, California

For some time now, I’ve really been digging on the band Fact Pattern. They are one of the few bands out there that really know how to embrace the “industrial” sound and make it sound the way it should. The band’s new single “Never Bleed” embraces the “industrial” sound while exploring some new territory that goes into post-punk. One of the things that I really like about Fact Pattern is that they are willing to experiment to evolve. “Never Bleed” is the band’s first new music since 2021 and they are for sure on the right path to the next level! "Incompatible" is a scathing indictment of unhealthy coping mechanisms in the form of religion and other spiritual practices.  Written from a place of frustration and a desire to make people face hard truths, the intent here is simply to state that your beliefs are just beliefs. And they are incompatible with every natural law of the known universe.

Never Bleed

After a busy performance schedule in 2022 and 2023, Fact Pattern have returned with their first new single since 2021 with the song “NEVER BLEED”. Accompanied by a video directed by the band’s own Ian Flux, “NEVER BLEED” is a mid-apocalypse love song with some of the most dynamic and melancholic sounds the band has conjured to date. Featuring a driving rhythm of pounding drums and a steady bass-line fit for a dance floor, the sonic ensemble is completed with guitars that glide over atmospheric and textured synths in support of an urgent vocal melody. This song is merely the first of several new singles and videos from their forthcoming full-length, to be announced in summer 2024.
