Sonum Unum is an electronic duo from the northeast United States, and features multi-instrumentalists/producers, Craig Douglas and Michael Goldberg.

Their sound connects elements of electronic, ambient, cinematic, and rock.

Douglas and Goldberg spent the winter of 2022/2023 passing files back and forth, which soon turned into a cohesive project with vast musical potential.

We are proud to welcome Sonum Unum to Negative Gain! This was one of the few releases NGP worked directly with the artist during the writing of the album, and the end product is nothing but a masterpiece in songwriting and emotion.

From the layered vocal harmonies, to the crafted minimal synths, the album reminds us of 70’s and 80’s musicians with a modern electronic sound. Something like M83 meets Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel.

The label debut album “Signals From the Sun” releases September 8th 2023 on CD and digital mediums.
