Atomic Skies (Single)

With a driving beat, unforgettable soundscapes and amazing vocals Atomic Skies leaves no one unaffected. Through the wasteland in a post apocalyptic earth the journey goes and it’s of course almost impossible to miss the homage to the computer game Fallout.

Atomic skies is released as a three track single on July 23rd and is followed by a remix EP in August.

Atomic Skies is the first lifesign from Vogon Poetry after the release of Tankar, in early 2021, from their fourth album Deep Thought.

The Guide gives you 9 electronic pop songs drenched in captivating melodies and lyrics about adventures in Time and Space as well as deep dives into the seriousness of reality.

You find up beat tunes such as Atomic Skies, synth pop gems such as Time and the one and only party track Gargle Blaster (which tells the story about the best drink in existence). From our beloved 80’s we bring back the lizards of “V” in the song Visitors and we even threw in a love song for you in Colours, the album closer, our first duet ever.

On The Guide we also have our first ever true collaboration with another band. Social Ambitions bring their unique sound to the mix and we love both the work we had together with them as well as the resulting tracks Time and Jag Vill.

Catchy melodies and clever lyrics combined with the voice of John sets the Vogon Poetry atmosphere and makes for a moment of pure electro pop pleasure.
