All the same guy. Delightful synth with medieval dungeon and magic vibes, Belgian New Beat revival, and he sometimes puts out mixes of vintage synth digging. Does his own graphic design. All very fun and inspiring. I bought a shirt with a 19th century weird sea creature design, looks like a space tentacle monster.

I followed him on FB, but looks like he's closing the page and moving to gram

WOW - Paladin is much better than I thought when I had seen it before but never listened and it's very good too. Might have to buy some of his stuff. Thx.

Sort of electronic Medieval Times.

Isn't it a hoot :D

I think this 2014 track is a great entry.

He keeps pulling and rereleasing tweaks of his albums on Bandcamp so I'm a little lost on what versions were where, but that's how some people work.

Also DO NOT MISS

I had to look up the source. This UK TV show.

I wonder why he has different projects or project names when Mild Peril sounds very close to Paladin?

Hi and thanks!

Mild Peril is the umbrella project name, or the 'record label', if you like. Only some very early releases were done with Mild Peril as the artist name. The track you posted, 'Paladin's Theme', comes from an early version of the album 'Matter', which is where I worked out the wizard disco thing. I then took the name Paladin instead. Later I reworked most of my releases so the Mild Peril artist name disappeared (apart from a couple of early things... and videos that other people put on YouTube!!)

I do tend to tweak things until I have them how I want them, yes, but you should find all the alternate versions in the 'Ephemera' compilation. Most of them anyway.

Glad to see you here... it's always fun to see your works. Some of the side posts like exploring old mystical countryside locations are really cool too.

This is really GREAT stuff!  I like Molasar as much as Paladin.

1000%. IMO this is some of the peak stuff that came with the synthwave thing. Because of more depth than just cars and neon palm trees and callbacks to 80's action films. It has good replay value and should be more known.
