Steve jobs, co-founder of apple inc, died on October 5th 2011. When he passed away, he left behind a legendary tech empire. He is credited with being the pioneer of the microcomputer revolution that took place in the 70s and 80s. Our world would be a very different place if he had never been born, and It would also be a very different place if he were still alive today. Today, life’s biggest questions asks, what if steve jobs were alive today.

5 min video that proves that Steve Jobs envisioned AI experiences in 1983 that we just now beginning to realize in tangible ways.

It takes him a few minutes to set up the vision. He begins with being very excited about combining words and pictures in an email that is sent via dial up modem. A masterful set of word pictures. And then a clear description of how computers (AI) can help us have experiences that previously were unfathomable. That's vision.

Our vision for AI is pro-human, and we want to train UX professionals to prepare them for the AI Experience Architect role. The first step of preparation is the AI Bootcamp for UX Teams, which will be in San Francisco (https://www.strat.events) on May 13 - 15, and later this year in NYC and Austin.

STRAT

STRAT produces events for product design researchers, strategists, designers, and product team members. We produce two types of events:
1. International conferences that focus on strategies for leading product design teams and helping them to be successful. The programs feature demonstrated leaders who help product research and design teams find the best way forward.
2. AI Bootcamps for UX Teams that focus on teaching the foundational skills for having a human-centered design impact on AI product design. The goal of the bootcamps is to prepare UX professionals for the changes ahead by training them how to identify the best AI use cases, how to impact model selection and training, how to understand the data issues involved in complex AI systems, and how to create an AI product prototype.
