Vasi Vallis' - Frozen Plasma - NamNamBulu - Reaper

Frozen Plasma was formed in 2005 by Vasi Vallis and Felix Marc, praising the natural progression from Vasi's former band Namnambulu. Frozen Plasma stands for melancholic and glorifying synthpop with the longing for large audiences and festivals as well as dancefloor filling parties in the clubs around the globe.

NamNamBulu

NamNamBulu is a German synthpop/futurepop band, consisting of Henrik Iversen (lyrics and vocals) and Vasi Vallis (songwriting and arrangement). Their 2005 release Alone reached #53 on the Deutsche Alternative Charts. The band split up in June 2005. NamNamBulu reunited in 2013 for 10-year anniversary tour, including dates at Wave-Gotik-Treffen (after 2004).

The band is located in Switzerland/Germany. Vasi Vallis, born in Greece, is responsible for all aspects of composing and arranging the songs and producing remixes: from the first idea, arrangement and production, to the end result. Vasi also does the "NamNamBulu" remixes for other bands. Henrik Iversen (Norwegian/Danish) is singer and lyricist. He is also the main performer on stage.

Reaper

Solo project of the keyboard player / producer of the band NamNamBulu.

When musical talent, having a knack for melodies and success in the synthpop section meet up with the wish of making music which sounds a bit harder, then it’s time to succumb to this wish. And this is why Vasi Vallis brought ‘Reaper’ to life in 2005, a music project which was not supposed to follow the path of the softer sounds of ‘NamNamBulu’ and ‘Frozen Plasma’. Basic idea was, that this project should be fun and not take things too seriously.

While hard beats meet with catchy and earworm-like melodies and combine to a danceable mix, which makes the listener hum long parts of the song, the band's lyrics deal with all the clichés that can be subsumed under the superordinate ‘evil’. The band plays quite obviously with topics such as death, Satan, sex and women, not without a healthy portion of sarcasm.
