Mechanical Moth is a Darmstadt, Germany- based band that was founded by Tandrin in 2002 under the name Projekt Rosenhöhe.
From its inception in 2002 to today, Mechanical Moth's music has brought together elements from many genres. In the same year Mechanical Moth was completed by the singer Matricide. In 2004 the band released the first album of the planned Deus Ex Machina trilogy on the Dark Dimensions label. Mechanical Moth made their live debut supporting the band Untoten on November 25, 2004 at the Rind in Rüsselsheim. Due to time constraints, Mechanical Moth's original live band line-up was reduced from four to two people.
The second album "Torment" was released at Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2005, where Mechanical Moth performed. The song "Flugelschlag" on it is included on the festival sampler. The new album also saw the release of Mechanical Moth's first music video, also entitled Torment. At the end of 2005, the live line-up of the band broke up completely. The result was a fully electronic live performance with vocals.
At the end of 2005, the singer Salacity joined the band and also took part in the last part of the trilogy with three songs. The album "The Sad Machina" was released in 2007. This time, too, there was a music video for the song "Time". After completing the Deus Ex Machina trilogy, Matricide left the band.
For the next album "Rebirth", the duo decided in early 2008 to work with the singer Ivy, who had previously acted as a singer in a rock side project by Tandrin (Spirit of D.). Ivy brought in a changed vocal style and voice atypical for Mechanical Moth. Other musicians such as Max ( Chamber ) and Massimo (Ellipse, Industriegebiet) were guests.
In 2009, the album and a music video for "Black Queen Style" were released. After "Rebirth" Ivy left Mechanical Moth and joined Stratoscope. The singer Sophie joined the band in 2011, and a year later the album Infinity was released.

NEO (New Electronic Order)

The duo Tandrin (MECHANICAL MOTH) and Disdain (NOVASTORM) see in " Sindustrial ", the debut of the NEW ELECTRONIC ORDER, NEO for short, the antistatement against dead compressed, mass-compatible, wipe-phone-earplug-compatible electronic fare. " Sindustrial " is supposed to bring back the heaviness in electronic music, basses are supposed to live up to their name.
While many artists seem to misunderstand the term industrial, NEO incorporate numerous sounds that shaped the genre at the time into their modern version of the same, so that " industrial " skillfully combines old and new.
